Carlson Bay, also known as North Bay, is one of the few public
beaches on Anderson Island. It is also part of the Washington Water Trails, with a campsite
available on the beach.
Access from Anderson Island is through the Andy Anderson Marine
Park. The trail is approx 3/4 mile to the beach, with four other
caches by the time you hit the beach. The last few feet to the
beach can be a bit muddy, but the ground is firm. The tide likely
won't be a problem, unless it's very high. You can check the
tidetable here.
The cache is in a decon container. No need to be standing on
anything but gravel when you find it.
