old orchard lot found by visiting twshp hall and park
This is an old orchard lot that has long lost its fruit trees. It can be found by going to the above coordinates and observing the dates on the township hall. I would have liked to put the cache in this park, but it would surely be spoiled. Take the 1st date ( founding of the township) and add 6036 for the last four digits N coordinate. Take the second date (building of town hall) and subtract 752 for the last four digits of the W coordinate. Enjoy the park, and then proceed to the cache in the fruitless orchard.
Original contents are: 2005 Jamboree shoulder patch(BSA), another boy scout patch, tape measure, VFW coin from post#1 Denver,CO., some golf balls and tees, a Sparty sticker, a paint set, and a counter. For those interested there is a benchmark at the SE corner of the town hall. Also when leaving cache proceed east and you'll see one of last remaining steel truss bridges in the area built in 1911, which is now closed.
