The Warmers Cache Letterbox Hybrid

A group of friends planted this cache on their annual get-together in the North Country. We call ourselves The Warmers. The Warmers was founded in 1999 by an elite group of North Country citizens who had really nothing better to do but idle away their time and money in order to stay in contact with one another. We have become addicted to both geocaching and letterboxing and with our decision making capabilities terribly compromised, we made this box a little of both.
This cache is an ammo can placed on the newly opened Red Sandstone Trail between Hannawa Falls and Potsdam. I recommend starting at the North Entrance for a nice 1/2 mile hike. The trail here weaves in between the penstock and the river. If you prefer a longer hike, (appox. 2 1/2 mile one way) you may begin at the South Entrance just across from the Hannawa Falls fire station on Mill St. The North Entrance is located down a gravel road off the Back Hannawa Rd.
This cache contains signature items of The Warmers group and the members thereof. There is a first to find prize as well. There is a hand made rubber stamp for letterboxers so please DO NOT REMOVE this item. The stamp is NOT a trade item. You may want to bring your own inkpad in the winter as ours will freeze.
