There are a number of routes to the Castle, but we chose to
start at Murla to give us a walk of about a mile to the top. Walk
out of Murla on the road by the cross (N38 45.708 W000 04.911 -
parking nearby) until you are almost at the foot of the castle
hill. Take a track through the orchard on your right and begin the
trek to the top following the yellow and white markers where
possible.
Small note on cache maintenance: When we set the
cache we stayed in Orba with friends who own a villa there. The
family spend about 12-14 weeks a year there (summer and winter) and
have promised to keep an eye on it.
