Geocache Description:

Small amount of bushwacking involved.

This is a series of 9 caches representing the planets to a scale model. The Capitol Rotunda-Dome in Madison, WI, with a diameter of 100 feet, represents the size of the sun. The 9 planets’ orbits are placed in caches according to this scale. Information on each planet, including the real and to-scale diameter, is in each cache container.

As you find each planet cache, write down the letter you find inside the lid. After you have completed all 9 planets, you will have 9 letters. Unscramble these letters to spell another astronomical term. E-mail us the word and we will give you the coordinates of the last cache. The first person to complete the series of caches will be able to keep the contents of the secret cache. Good luck!

Each cache contains a logbook, pencil and pen, and an information sheet about the planet. Each container is a 6” by 3” cylinder. No need to trade items.
