Slip Away Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Florida Sandpiper: I went by today and indeed, the Geocache is gone! It had contained a Geocoin and a Travel Bug and I have to assume they are in the hands of non-cachers! It has been a great cache and over 100 Geocachers has found it, but I am not going to replace it. Thanks to all that tried to find this cache, both those that found it and those that coundn't. I am sorry for the past few cachers that looked in vain.

Geocache Description:

Slip away from work or from the nearby ball park and find a cache! Short walk south from a large parking lot. Sunrise to sunset only.

This cache is a camouflaged medium size round plastic jar hidden on the ground in a small wooden area. Reports are it is hard to find, yet the coords are very good. Keep searching!

Please replace it to the same well hidden location WITH THE TOP UP. (When it is placed up side down, water seeps into the cache!)

16 March 2009 -- Since there seem to be more DNF's for this cache then most caches, I am adding a hint in plain english! Go out in the clearing East of the cache, let your GPSr settle down and line yourself up with the Latitude and then walk straight West past the tree line and after you past the first palm tree on your right, the cache will be about 10 to 15 feet under a small palmetto. I re-checked the coords today and they are correct within 0.001 minute. I left the "Difficult, Rating" at "3" but with this hint it should be a "1" !!! I hope you have fun finding it.
