We hid an ammo can (yes, a real one!) in a not-too-difficult location near the most exquisite swimming hole you'll ever see. If you're lucky, the berries will be ripe, and the other folks in the world will be too busy, so you can have it to yourself. Easy on and off from I-5 northbound (Pollard Flats) or southbound (Gibson)and a nice vacation along the old road below the hurrying crowd.
Don't forget to enjoy the architecture of the two bridges--okay, three, if you actually enjoy modern utilitarianism. We should have brought the camera, but didn't, so please feel free to post a few pictures.
This spot could be great for a picnic, a day of swimming, even an overnighter if you're RVing your way along. Too much garbage is the only spoiler, so feel free to CITO.
A real ammo can with:
pen/pencil/logbook
sunglasses
seatbelt shoulder cushion
rubber rat
6" adjustable wrench
army tank
pair of dice
carabiner
box end wrench
two small soccer balls
and three TB's which might appreciate a lift. . .
