Geocache Description:


Whit-La Woods

This is located in Whitlam Woods Preserve of the Geauga Park
District. The Empress of Tra-La-Lia has a soft spot in her heart for this location because it’s the scene of many a victory over her former rival, Murray.

The container is a smaller Rubbermaid, so no 3-Headed Siamese Dog Travel Bugs will fit here. The cache is less than 0.5 miles from the parking lot. You must take the Bridge Trail to cross the valley. This will require climbing a fairly long set of stairs.

If you are approaching from the west, turn left into the parking lot immediately after the Hambden Township sign.

The cache is within 50 feet of trails. Please stay on the trail as long as possible. Also, please be careful not to disturb plants while you are searching.
