This cache is just outside the Chicago loop near Greek Town. Cache
container is magnetic key holder. Bring your own pen/pencil.
Muggles are everywhere, so be careful making the find. This is not
the bridge over the river.
This bridge, along with some others in this area, has a "themed"
design. While there, take note of the railings both concrete and
metal. All decorative items on the bridge have resemblance of the
Chicago flag. The Chicago flag, like any other flag, has symbols to
represent what Chicago is and its history. Take note of the real
Chicago flag standing at the southeast part of the bridge. The
white (a composite of all colors) represents the mixing of
different nationalities; top white representing the northside,
middle representing the westside and bottom representing the
southside. The two blues stripes represent Lake Michigan, the
Chicago River (North, South and main branch) and the great canal.
The four red stars represent Fort Dearborn, the Chicago Fire, the
World's Columbian Exposition and Century of Progess.
Madison Street was named after the fourth President James Madison.
It was the first south boundary street of the town from the
Thompson plat in 1830.
