Geocache Description:

About 5675 ft elev. just off Derrick Trail #33

Parking is available at the Horton Creek Picnic Site (just past the bridge). The trailhead is located behind the Upper Tonto Creek Campground (by camping site #6). Trail begins a rather steep uphill for the first 500 feet; then it flattens out as it meanders through ponderosa pines. The cache is a large ammo can. First to find has some tough choices to make - original contents include: Garmin eMap leather carrying case, Coupon for a bakers doz. of Einstein bagels good for the month of Sept., D-Backs PomPoms "1999 Div. Champs", new deck of cards, "Stinkey Pete", 5' tape measure, 10 - ninjas, and P51-B Mustang. Each cache item is zip bagged, 2 pens & 1 pencil & logbook are included plus 5 extra ziplock bags.
