I thought I've been concentrating on the sciences too much, so here's one for the humanities aficionados. Cache is multistage with a mini-container (larger than a micro) for the final. All stages are within a short distance of one another, and take you to what I call small versions of our neighboring state's famous geologic features.
For an easier and more scenic approach to the 2nd(final) waypoint, take the trail up to the right. Also, in years past, there were signs warning of rattlesnakes in the area. Those evidently have been replaced by warnings of larger predators.

6-9-17 The final has disappeared twice now so I put the final at what used to be the 2nd stage. The cache is now a mini decon container. Continue a little further west on the ridge for good views and a neat rock arch.
