Geocache Description:

This is the seventh in a series of eight caches along the entire length of the Price River.

#1 - Scofield Dam
#2 - Bear Canyon
#3 - Helper Parkway

#7 - Book Cliffs
#8 - Green River Confluence

This cache is placed where the Price River cuts through the Book Cliff mountains. The road begins at US-6 just north of Woodside. There is private property on both sides of the road for the first few miles, but it's a public road and the cache is on BLM land.

The Book Cliffs are beautiful any time of the year, and sunset is the best time of day to view them. The cache lies alongside a road that eventually turns into a pack trail and goes all the way to the confluence with the Green River. If you continue a ways past the cache, you'll see some petroglyphs on some boulders on the north side of the road. There are also a few places along the way that are great for picnics along the river bank.
