Deirdre's First Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache is located not far off the rail trail and can be accessed by foot, bike, ATV, snowmobile, cross-country skis or horse - and dogs are welcome. It's an easy hike on level ground and is only rated a 2 because of distance. Winter friendly unless it ices in!
From Garnet Graham (or Fenelon Beach) Park it's about a 2.2 km. hike to the cache. For a shorter walk, cachers can choose to follow Louisa Street and intersect the trail at one of the short cottage access roads, although parking may be limited.
Although the trail is well-maintained, please feel free to cache in and trash out if necessary.
Note: There may be poison ivy in the area, be careful where you step.
**UPDATE**; After almost 12 years, rising water finally got the best of this one, and it had to be replaced. Cache is now a small container, only big enough to hold the log book and small trackables. Please bring your own pen/pencil. Cache is at same co-ordinates, but on higher ground.
