We're bringing the ice cream ... it's your job to bring your favorite toppings to share ... cookies work too!
A couple of weeks ago, Justlook'in and I were out doing a little local caching (trying to catch up) and talking about how great it is to have so many new, local active cachers. And, how great it would be to meet them. And so, THE ICE CREAM IN THE PARK EVENT CACHE was born!
The Date: September 11, 2005
The Time: 2:00 PM
The Place: The Co-ordinates above will take you to the parking lot on the south side of the park, from there let your geo-senses lead you to the Gazebo (it's been reserved.)
For those who are local, you know where you're going and what's there. For those who aren't local (and we hope you'll come) here's some general info. There are some tables, but you may want to bring a blanket for sitting on the grass. There is a playground for the kids, and this is Important ... There are MORE THAN 20 CACHES WITHIN 1.3 MILES OF THE PARK! So come early and bring a picnic lunch or just come for ice cream and caching .... but come, join us for the 1st Annual "ICE CREAM IN THE PARK EVENT CACHE"!
