Geocache Description:

Walupt lake is a nice place that provides access to the Goat Rocks Wilderness. While you can find access to the wilderness area, the west end of the lake has a campground where you can find people sitting in lawn chairs in the shallow end of the lake.

In order to provide a bit more of a pleasant experience I have placed the cache along the east end of the lake. If you have a canoe or other small boat you may wish to bring it and paddle across the lake to the cache. If you look for this cache on foot you will find side trail access to the lake from the main trail which runs along the north side of the lake and can walk along the shore to the cache area.

You'll need your Northwest Forest Pass for parking.

Keep in mind the cache is in the Goat Rocks Wilderness area so please remember to "leave no trace" and bring a ziploc bag to pick up after those who have left traces.
