Footloose Slip N Slide Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

LavaLizard: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

On the steep side of a hill at the turnout to Green Valley Lake. VERY SLIPPERY CLIMBING INVOLVED. Easiest approach is out to the right side, up and around to the left, not straight up.

There is a large turnout on the north side of highway 18 at the Green Valley Lake turnoff. Remember, you must display an adventure pass when parking in the San Bernardino National Park. There is some climbing involved here. You don't have to go far, but it is somewhat steep, and the footing is very slippery. I slid down on my _ _ _ _ on the way down. Step carefully. You are looking for a very small black micro geocache tube about 2" long, and tied to an oak tree branch.
