Ammo box alongside the Avon River.
Ammo box nestled in a cairn of rocks alongside the picturesque Avon River. Spent the weekend at a Teen Initiative Training weekend at a nearby camping area and thought what does this place need? Answer a cache. This area currently known as the Wesley Block has recently been vested back to CALM and will soon become part of the Avon Valley National Park. They are also trying to buy back Moondyne farm, making the Avon Valley one of the largest around Perth. Please note there is no access via Utar Road. There is a very grumpy landowner not far from the Toodyay road intersection, and the 2 locked gates will slow you down if he doesn’t. You will need to leg it from the end of quarry road. Don’t drive on the railway access track, last person ended up in Northam Court.
Original contents include DVD RW, 2 bike tubes, Cap, Hat, Drink bottle, Fridge magnet, Super glue, 2 bike bells, Power clipper, Geo.com.au stickers, Limited edition Sunseekers stubby holder, FTF scratchy and the required log etc.
