Travel Bug Flop Traditional Geocache
Lumberjack Tom: A couple searches for the missing ammo box have yielded squat. I guess this guy is bobbing up and down in the balmy waters of the gulf by now. Time to let this one go permanently.

Large (what I call 50 caliber) ammo box designed for the trading and transfer of travel bugs. Parking off of Zorn Avenue in the old River Road Country Club parking lot (see "Parquero" or other caches placed in this area) or at various pull-offs along River Road.
I have changed the name of this cache from "Travel Bug Flop House" to "Travel Bug Flop" to reflect the fact that, while maintaining the old cache in every respect (including GC number), I am de-emphasizing its purpose as a traditional travel bug hotel after the unexplained disappearance of numerous travel bugs that had taken up residence in it. After an in-depth attempt to find out what happened to all those bugs (including contacting everyone who had visited the cache in the past two years), I could only throw my arms up in despair. I have no idea what happened to them.
I'm therefore re-opening this cache as a regular cache once again, and although it can still hold travel bugs like any other cache, I can only advise that visitors drop bugs only at their (and the bug's) own risk. Something spooky has gone on at this site, and I say that in no particular regard to the fast-approaching Halloween. The current list of bugs shown as occupants of this cache have become the lost souls of the "Travel Bug Flop House." Hopefully, they have not fallen into a black hole forever and will one day travel again....
