Geocache Description:

2nd in a series of caches on or near small bridges over Hominy Creek in Candler, NC.

This easy hide is on a bridge that suffered some damage in the hurricane flooding of fall 2004. The bridge was declared unsafe. I walked to the bridge shortly after the flood subsided, and I encountered one man in a car who was determined to ignore the warnings and drive across the bridge, and another man who was quite sure that the bridge would collapse if he did. They nearly came to blows over it but the bridge has not collapsed yet. After some maintenance it was reopened.

This is as close as you can get to a park-and-grab without the cache being in plain sight. You're looking for a 35mm film canister--log only, bring a pen.
