This site provides an excellent view of the B. Everett Jordan dam that completed construction in 1974 to contain the 661K acre Jordan Lake. If you have the time, you can spend it sitting on the large deck overlooking the dam and lake, sitting on a rocking chair on the porch of the visitor center or checking out the day use area below the dam. Bring you own writing instrument.
Please sign the guest book in the visitor center if you can. They have some potential cache goodies in there as well.

02/06/22: Checked cache and it was 100% intact and in its origianl location. Log had not been signed since 2015 which is intersting since it was it was reported as found as of September 2021. Disabling.
