Geocache Description:

Farm theme: initial items include farm animals, stickers, items related to farming; and prehistoric items to remind all that this farm might become a thing of the past.
This cache is on the Circleville Farm of Penn State University. The cache is hidden after walking in a fairly dense area that requires a bit of bush wacking through tall ground cover in the summer and not much in the winter.

There are two ways to log this cache. The best way is probably to be on mountain bike using the Tudek-Circleville Bikeway (visit link) The second best way would be to park one's car at N40.47.598 & W077.53.833 and walk in.

Either way, from the parking area, one can go directly to the cache at the end coordinates by doing a heavy amount of bushwacking and watching out for various field varmits; or you can follow the rough road (watch out for washed out ditches); walking or on bike toward the smell of apples at N40.47.512; W077.53.761.

Once near the apple orchard veer left to the highest ground at N40.47.477; W077.53.720 and be sure to check out the beauty of this wonderful farm land that will soon be turned in to housing developments if a request for re-zoning goes through.

From the zenith continue down the rough road about 100 feet or so and head toward the general direction of N40.47.513; W077.53.648.

[There is very little bushwacking, if any at all, if you follow the specified coordinates. Good Luck. In the summer there will be more than in the winter because of field plant growth.]

Again, one could bush wack again to try to go directly to the final coordinates but it is best to stay on paths as long as possible. When you get to the immediately previous waypoint it is your turn to do the finding. I have guided you very safely to within 100 feet of the cache.

When you find a rustic place for lunch or a snack, go in the same direction a little more and you will have found the Circleville Farm cache.
