An easy cache which can be accessed either from the M1 Watford Gap
Services, OR the parallel running A5.
You can access the cache co-ordinates by turning 'NE' off the A5,at
the crossroads with the B5385.
OR
From the Watford Gap Services on the M1, park up in the services
(free for two hours), go to the lorry park on the North Bound side
and you can access the canal tow path quite easily at approx
N52-18.422 / W001-07.427.
If you wish and have the time, after finding the cache, continue
walking N/W on the canal towpath for about 500 yds. and you will
find the not generally well known staicase locks, tranquilly hidden
away next to the busy and noisy M1.
