This cache is in the pretty NW area of Stoughton. It is on a nice trail until the end when a bit of easy bushwacking is necessary. Please use camera to take your picture-leave w/cache. (DEVELOPED- see pics below!)
Park at N42 55.638 W89 14.668
Note Howard Heggestad Park-- Howard Heggestad was a man who had an interest in and donated money for trees. Over one hundred crab apple trees were placed in the northern industrial park off Williams Dr. Shortly before Mr. Heggestad's death a decision was made to use the remaining money for this little park. Ironically, the 8th rated White Oak in WI commemorated in the plaque was toppled in a storm. This plaque also identifies the other trees planted in the park.
Dogs allowed on leashes. May be muddy in spring--near lake.
