Geocache Description:

The Saturday after Thanksgiving, we all gather to go Geocaching!

This time it's even better than before!
Different places, different caches, but our same wonderful caching family. Once again, meals and lodging are on you, but the experience is priceless!
As for hotels and motels nearby, the Bella Vista is the nearest and has clean comfortable rooms. It is located on Hwy 31, in Bear Lake (despite what the link shows, there is only one!). Down further (about 15 minutes) on Hwy31 is the Microtel, which is a newer motel, and has good rates!

Exciting news 'cachers! This year breakfast will be Fusions Restaurant in Frankfort! Breakfast will start promptly at 9am, so don't be late! The owners are opening up just for us (they usually don't serve breakfast in the off season).

We have just made arrangements (such as they are) to have dinner at the Bear Lake Bar. We should be at the bar between 5pm ~ 6pm, and they have the best Walleye in Northern Michigan! After dinner, if Rosie's still has karoake, we can reconvene there. click here for a map and phone number.

The above coords are to our house, and this year camping WILL be available in our field! Please note only primitive camping out there, lol. And please practice no impact camping! This our own corner of heaven, so we hope you enjoy it with us, and also help be responsible cachers and campers, and good stewards of the land.
