Easy find. This micro cache should only take seconds if you know what to look for (see photo and hint). It's out in the open. No need to dig, pry, or root around.
The cache name refers to Pete Fountain's 'Half-Fast Marching Band' a fixture on the New Orleans jazz scene, especially during Mardi Gras. I once marched with a jazz funeral procession which passed this very spot. Ironic, as some older maps (1788) show this block (one of 70 laid out in a military style grid by Bienville himself in 1718) as a cemetery. Which might explain the extra bouncing your GPSr may report trying to lock in the coordinates. Have Fun! ..and of course, use stealth. Although this is the quiet side of the French Quarter, it is still often crowded (especially with those 'haunted history' tour groups).
