We recently celebrated our 300th find. During the last several
months, our family had a lot of fun chasing amo boxes, Tupperware
containers, 35 mm film canister and unusual objects (such as
electrical boxes or Brass Caps survey monuments).
We decided to pay tribute to some of our fellow geocachers who
made us drive around town and all over the place in search of those
elusive prizes.
This particular one is for Bush Creatures. It is located off of
111 St., not too far from the Bush Creatures habitat. Don’t stop by
the side of the road, there are better ways to access the
cache!
As soon as we met the Bush Creatures we knew we would make good
friends with them. Their passion for the outdoors and the wildlife
is phenomenal and matches our interests. Since we met the first
time, we exchanged lots of e-mail and did a number of little cache
outings with them. All of these moments were really enjoyable. Bush
Creatures even awarded a “Bush Creatures” award to our little
geocachers, as they were impressed with what they can do in the
bushes and how they know more in life than going shopping at the
mall.
Bush Creatures sent us on interesting and very nice hunts inside
and outside the city. Some of the best cache hunts we’ve done were
set out by them (Try “
Cache Cow Too”, a very interesting site!). Bush Creatures, we
would like to pay you a little tribute. Thank you!
There is a FTF prize, but wait… Here a little
twist:
Hopefully Bush Creatures will be FTF to claim the prize, but if
that’s not the case, the FTF may decide to keep the prize or leave
it for Bush Creatures. The next finder, if still not Bush
Creatures, may also decide to keep it or leave it and so on… until
the prize is claimed by either Bush Creatures or any other finder.
Good luck!
Happy hunting and Thank You Bush Creatures.
FTF Updtate: When the cache came out, Bush
Creatures were on a trip around Southern Alberta. Vixie found the
cache first but left the prize in the cache. Then RoadsideTurnout
did the same thing. Bush Creatures were third to find and they
claimed their prize 6 days after the cache came out.
