A fairly easy to locate cache in the mountains at a height of 340 metres. Car parking is on a road about 150 metres from the cache. This location is chosen for its spectacular views!!
As a regular visitor to this island I have placed this cache as an easier accessed alternative to the Navagio cache to the north.
From the location of this cache one can view the interior of the island from little Marathonisi Island in Laganas Bay in the south to the resort of Alikes in the north east. The airport is clearly visible, as is Zante Town & on a clear day, the Greek mainland beyond. Unless a lot of uphill walking is desired park your car where the track meets the road. If you have a 4WD you can drive within 3 metres of the cache. A 3 minute stroll along the track will take you to the location. Some slight scrambling over rocks will be required to reach the cache which is placed under a small rock.
Beware of the very thorny vegetation that grows on this island! Its not friendly to feet in sandals!!
