This is going to be an all day cache-a-thon and cito with a little optional camping out at the end, located in the beautiful Holly Springs National Forest
We are going to start the event at 10am, which sounds really early, but you dont have to be there then, the food will be served at noon, thats when you have to be there.
We are going to set out a series of caches around the area, each one will be hidden in a different way and may require you to use a map and some good old caching know how. Also there will be a requirement for each cacher taking a trash bag with them and helping clean the place up. Points will be awarded for amount of trash picked up and speed of finding the caches.
On Friday Night and on Saturday night, we will have camping out for anyone that wants to join in. (I am hoping that the park people will let us do that for free) We are also going to hide a special night cache, for those that enjoy them. So if you want to participate in that, you will have to stay untill it is dark or come really early.
I have talked with the park people and they are going to allow us to get in to the park for free. They are also proving bags and gloves to clean up the trash with. But the do require that we have some liability paperwork filled out. i am going to get these forms as soon as i can and post them for everyone.
We will be providing the meat for lunch (dont know what it is yet) and we are asking people to bring drinks, chips, dips, deserts, the usual stuff.
