The Port Authority, the City of Cleveland, and Cuyahoga County
battled for several years over these 20-acres on the east side of
Whiskey Island. The county eventually purchased the land and opened
it as a park, but this reclaimed industrial area is still pretty
rough. There's speculation that, with a bit of polish, it may
become the newest jewel in the Cleveland Metroparks' emerald
necklace.
Note that the park is open during daylight hours only.
The cache container is on the "smallish-regular" scale.
