Ever since I first saw this spot while running along the Genesee Valley Greenway, I have wanted to put a cache in this area.
This is a 2 part cache, with part 1 being a micro and part 2 is a 30 cal. ammo can. Best parking for this would be at the York Landing lot along the Greenway. The coordinates for part 2 are contained in part 1. NOTE: there is only one set of coordinates in this container so please leave them there.
PLEASE READ -- Part 1 of the cache is in a "fragile" old-time location. Please try to replace all parts of this area as you found it including any spots you moved but did not find the container at. This will preserve the area as well as the integrity of the cache.
Original contents of the final cache contain items that could be related to the area such as snakes, bugs, insects and frogs. (plastic of course). Other items include deck of cards, carabeaner, keychain light and box of band-aids.
There is also a bottle of insect repellant that should be left in cache for anyone that needs some.
Have fun and take time to enjoy the view and wildlife.
