Some time ago, I posted a note to your cache page requesting a response from you to post what you were planning to do with the cache on the page and to send me a note. I have no record of a response, and no response tells me that you are not planning on replacing or repairing this cache. If I am wrong with that assumption, please let me know promptly. I can always unarchive the cache for you if needed.

Geocache Description:

Located at a cemetery that dates back to the late 1800's. From Winnfield, La. take Highway 84 west, turn right onto Coldwater Road (you will see a KVCL sign), go 3.7 miles and turn right at the Harmony Cemetery sign. It's up to you and your GPS from there. All roads are grated, and parish maintained. You can drive all the way to the cache.

This cache will take you to a very old area. Just across the road from the cemetery is where the old Harmony School once stood back in the 1800's. Please take one of the fliers that have been prepared for you. It tells about some of the history of this spot, and others close by.

log and pen
