Geocache Description:


This is a small Lock-N-Lock container full of a few goodies. Take your time while you’re here in this area because it has a long very interesting history that dates back to the mid-1800's. For a short time this area once served as the Confederate Capitol of Arkansas. A troop of more than 80 solders died while encamped here from an epidemic of the Black Measles and some 17 barely readable headstones can be found here in the area. The headstones were all dated near the same day & placed in a straight & compact line next to the spring where they washed their clothes, as if they were dominoes and had fallen directly into their pre-dug graves. So have fun and please put the container back exactly as you found it.

PS When I originally way pointed this site the Poison Ivy was not so prevalent. That is not the case now. So please watch out for the PI......
