Geocache Description:

Goodyear makes some good OFF ROAD tires but you can drive to here on street tires. Elevation 1932' This is a small Geocache with instructions, a pencil and a log sheet. It has small trading items but if you don't have a small item to trade take one and I will replace it. This was the first cache Clemmie helped place so it is a bit of an easy walk up, except for the flies. I have spent many an night near here and lots of day time hours too in the company of Mr. Smith and his buddy Mr. Wesson.

This Goodyear tire is a HRL-4B, 40.00 - 57, E4 ,60 ply tubeless Type 4S which was used on one of the haulage trucks at IOC. It is a 150-level radial rock tire is specifically designed with a unique wider, flatter tread arc width which results in a longer, more even wearing tire. This tire is available in multiple tread compounds: high speed, standard haulage and abrasion resistance. The radial construction guarantees better fuel economy, improved treadwear and a softer ride.
