Superb, easy walking or mountain biking over Claife Heights following any one of the many footpaths in this area will lead you to Wise Een Tarn.
The views towards the Coniston Hills and northward to Fairfield are unbeatable.
There are many routes on to Claife Heights. Refreshment is available in Near or Far Sawrey and there is easy parking alongside Lake Windermere. The cahe is not far from the path above Wise Een Tarn, before it enters the forest.
