Geocache Description:

A small geocache in Williamsons Park. Please rehide well.

Williamson Park in Lancaster, England, was constructed by millionaire James Williamson, 1st Baron Ashton, and his father, also called James Williamson. Its focal point is the Ashton Memorial. The park is extensively wooded, with many pathways winding among the trees.

The Ashton Memorial is a folly in Williamson Park, Lancaster, England built between 1907 and 1909 by millionaire industrialist Lord Ashton in memory of his second wife, Jessy.

The park grounds are wonderful place for both adults and children and has lots to do and gets really busy with people visiting. Refreshments are available or it's a great place to have a picnic too!
