Quaddick State Park is truly a small gem of a park.
This is a Connecticut State Park and they charge for parking on weekends. Cache is a medium size rubbermaid container. Started with bungee cord, mini-flashlight, candle, pez dispenser, woggle, Gu2o packet, Kleenek pack and mini-carabiner.
After finding cache, head north on road and take left after 9/10 of a mile, you will find a neat small boat launch past bridge. This is also the starting point of of NYNE Railroad, a very nice multi cache by Mustcache & Aunt Fone. Paddle under bridge and you will enter the Quaddick Reservoir. The state park and beach are on the left hand (east) shore. Paddle in the opposite direction and you will approach Thompson Speedway through a very marshy area.
