Take the Mirror Lake road to the Trial Lake turn off and follow the signs to the Crystal Lake Trailhead. This was one of our favorite "secret" spots and now it's a parking lot. The difficulty rating is listed as three because of steep spots between the lakes. But the overall hike is not too difficult.
The cache is a 4" x 6" waterproof container with a log book and pencil. There is really no room for swag. Please do not force items into the container and spring the closing clips. This cache is intended for those who like to hike. Please check out the other caches at Watson and Cliff Lakes. Happy caching!
