The BEST Thing in LIFE is NOT Free
The Remembrance Wall
While out on a drive with my mother-in-law, the most amazing site caught my eye.
Graffitti, I thought -- but my heart told me it was much more. So I turned around and went back. As I returned to the Graffitti art that I saw -- it took my breath away. WOW -- a history lesson in Krylon. What detail, what impact.
As I watched Jeben Berg and his cohorts create their masterpiece-- I realized more people should see the visions on this Remembrance Wall.
So with the permission of Jeben, I have created this cache. He only asks that you do not disturb any of their stuff, whether on the wall or around it. That you look at it and show it to others so that they also can know that the best thing in life is NOT free, many people give every thing for it.
Find a place to park -- I think you may want to hang out and reminise awhile as you go from the beginning to the actual cache.
The first set of coorinates will take you to the beginning.
You will need to do some simple math to find the actual cache.
Take the original NORTH coordinates and add the number of letters on the 4th poster then add the number one to get your new north coorinates.
To get the new WEST coordinates multiply the number of letters on the first poster by the number of posters subtract 5 and then add to the original coordinates.
First Finder prize is a certificate for a T-shirt and a booklet of "The Remembrance Wall".
Other items include: one WWII pin, 4 pins that honor WWII Veterns, the few remaining items from the "Saturday Morning Boredom" cache and the Travel Bug called "Freedom Fighter".
It would have made sense to make the hide a ammo box, but just not enough good areas for the hide. So if you use your noodle and think about how we get all the information regarding some of the scenes on the wall and future scenes on the wall, it should be an easy find.
I am sure that there will be aliens around -- I think this will become very popular, use caution. The Cache is very open and visable -- so please use stealth when opening the cache.
A special Thank you to the Clark County Mural Society and their vision for using the almost 600 foot wall, and to Jeben Berg and his band of mighty painters for the hard work and vision that they put into painting each portion of the wall.
AND TO ALL THE SOLDIERS THAT SERVE AND HAVE SERVED THIS GREAT COUNTRY OF OURS, THE BIGGEST THANK YOU OF ALL FOR GIVING YOUR ALL FOR OUR FREEDOM.
