Here is some info about Bear Lake! Bear Lake has a surface area of 112 sq. miles (72000 acres) and has a depth of 208 feet. The lake straddles the border between Utah and Idaho. I created this cache after bringing home a travel bug from a different Bear Lake -- Big Bear Lake in California. Big Bear is fun and beautiful too! The highway has been improved near here. Kudos to road planners who kept this area accessible. In winter, we see quite a bit of snow here.
