Cache Hiding Contest
Join the cachers of NEFGA for a cache hiding contest in Union
County. Participants are strongly urged to form teams of 4 to 6
adults. Teams should report to the posted cords at the posted time
having already hidden a cache. The cache should meet the
following critera...
- Must be within the borders of Union County
- Must be an Ammo Can
- Must include a log and stash note
- Must conform to geocaching.com listing guidelines (and must
subsequently be listed)
- Must be well stocked with highly sought after boodle
When you arrive (on time - Eastern Time not Island Time) at the
posted coordinates, your team should have a sheet, with enough
copies for all the other teams (Lake Butler has several places
copies can be made). The sheets should include the coordinates of
your team's cache, the title and a hint. Do not distribute the
copies, give them to an Event Official, along with the odometer
reading on your vehicle. The copies will be collated and at
precisely 10:30AM each team will recieve a packet that includes all
the cache contest entries. Teams will then go hunt the caches and
meet at 5:30PM at N29° 55.585 W82° 25.527 for food,
fellowship, voting and awarding of prizes. Those not planing to
participate in the contest may meet us there to welcome the
participants and congratulate the winners!

- Most Accurate Coordinates

- Most MEFFs
- Most other Union County caches found
