This cache is located adjacent to the Obsidian Dome in the Mammoth Lakes area.
This was the first cache placed by Team Transit and Bansheezz. We spend a lot of time in the Inyo/Mono county area so we decided to place one here. This cache is adjacent to the Obsidian Dome and was placed so no rock climbing will be required. Yor GPS may get a little skittish near the actual cache location so you may need to use your geo-skills to locate it. The cache is a ammo box size and due to the nature of this area it may be under snow during the winter but may be accessable via a cross country ski route adajacent to the cache.
