A straightforward multi with a walk of about a mile through a small
and picturesque village that is hidden away in the bucks
countryside.
This cache was placed to commemorate a terrific pub 'The White Horse' which closed down around 1988 in a listed building set in a tranquil village. It is now a very good quality Belgian restaurant called ‘la Chouette’
• The co-ordinates take you to your first clue – a telephone box – the phone number is 01296 748AB4
• To the west is a pathway which takes you up to a pub – whats it’s name? The C Stars
• Now backtrack slightly and continue towards the High Street on the left there is a letterbox whats the code? HP17 1D5
• Continue down to Westlington green past ‘La Chouette’ and find a fragrant flowery thatched cottage with numbers on the side – the top row 17 P E2
Now sort out the co-ords N 51°47. (B-1)A(C+1) W 000°53. D(E-1)3
