Geocache Description:

Can be accessed with 4wd vehicle at 5222 elevation. If road looks too difficult for your rig the hike isnt too bad either and the view is worth it!

This historical mining area was first worked back in the 1880s and up through the 1940s. There are a few foundations of structures here, rock dugouts, several tent cabins and one wooden cabin.
Look to the northeast from the cache location to see the tram heading up the mountainside. Thats one heck of a hike, we can only imagine how tough those old miners used to be!
