Geocache Description:

Longton Brickcroft Nature Reserve is on the site of the former Bentley Brickworks which closed in the early 1960’s when the clay ran out. The old claypits now form the basis of the well managed nature reserve, which we hope you will enjoy.

The co-ords are not those of the cache but the visitor centre car park. Parking is free, and available any time, the visitor centre is open afternoons Thursday to Sunday where free maps and guides are available.

The cache of course is a parody of Will Shakespeare’s famous poem in The Two Gentlemen of Verona, and your primary task is to find out “Who is Sylvia”?
Having then discovered this, you will then be able to determine the real co-ordinates of the cache.
You will need to take a walk around the south pond (about 1/3 mile). Having successfully completed this walk you should have in your possession seven letters… Using their numerical equivalents determine the values for A,B,C,D,E

E = First letter’s value
A = First letter’s value minus 3
B = Fourth letter’s value minus 3
C = First letter’s value plus A
D = A plus B

The cache co-ordinates are : N53 43.ABC W002 47.DEA and is still within easy walking distance (less than ½ mile) of the carpark.
