ZOO
A Kansas Heartland Geocache
One day, we took a road
trip. My daughter, being a curious tiny young child, wanted to know
where we were going. She was told that it was a secret. To a little
child, we drove for a very long time. Finally we came to a spot and
told her to look at a tall structure with letters on it. "What does
that spell?" we asked. We had been practicing the fine art of
figuring out what letters made what sounds. She sounded it out,
"Zzzzzzzz". "Uuuuuuuuuu". "Zzzzzzuuuuuu." "Zoo! We're going to the
zoo!" That was the first word she ever read, and it was a good day
at the zoo, too.
You are looking for a black
ammo box with a cantuland-geocache-logo painted on the sides.
Original contents include a Guide to Geocaching, a Sacagawea gold dollar
coin, a Kansas quarter, a Lewis-and-Clark edition nickel, one of
those new-Lincoln-image-on-the-back pennies, an old wheat penny,
and lots of other miscellaneous trade items.
Congratulations to SilleB for being First To
Find!
This is
the last of the Kansas Heartland Geocaches. To go to the first one,
visit geocache GCPQF3.
REMEMBER:
