Geocache Description:

Along the Leete Path in Loggerheads following the Discovery Trail.

Imagine yourself back in time to the early nineteenth century. You are walking alongside the river Leete with Felix Mendelssohn (1809-1847). The river is babbling cheerfully, the birds are chirping and the wind is gently whistling through the trees above you.

It was this scene that inspired Mendelssohn to compose the third of his Fantasies or Caprices for piano, "The Rivulet".

Follow the Discovery trail signs until you reach number 5 at the site of a zig-zagged wooden bridge crossing the Leete.

Please note there are a lot of trees so the GPS signal may be comprimised.
