'86 Mets Multi-Cache

The caches are quite easy to find and will require some stealth since this is an area where muggles frequent. Watch out for sitcker burrs! There are plenty around.
1986 New York Mets

Won division by 21½ games over the Philadelphia Phillies.
NLCS: Beat the Houston Astros in six games.
World Series: Beat the Boston Red Sox in seven games.
The 1986 New York Mets were the best team in the majors, and knew it. Their attitude, cockiness, and 108-54 record annoyed opponents, who were probably already frustrated by the Mets' uncanny knack for winning. In every facet of the game, the Mets were deep, talented and passionate. The best starting five in the majors gave way to a bullpen with several superb closers. The lineup featured good power and blazing speed, while an above-average defense boasted several Gold Glove-caliber players.
This is the team that I idealized when I was a young pup. However, this team is not popular in Southern Utah. St. George’s own Bruce Hurst was likely to become the World Series MVP if Bill Buckner didn’t let Mookie Wilson’s slow dribbler go between his legs in game six causing the Red Sox to lose 6-5.
This should be a rather simple multi-cache with all three caches located within .5 miles. Make sure you’re familiar with your ’86 Mets trivia or this may prove to be more difficult. The first of the caches is located near a baseball field, of course, and this is not a cache that you should find during a game or you may get some dirty looks from the “little league moms”. The field is not used on a regular basis except during the spring and summer.
