A walk through Cambridgeshire fields
Fairview Farm is no longer in use but until a few years ago herded beef cattle. The farm buildings and some of the equipment are in fair order but weeds are growing rapidly all over the site. The cache does not make use of any building or equipment.
A bridle path runs through the farm and connects Eltisley to the south and Yelling to the north. The cache is designed to encourage a walk through the fields.
Parking is best by Eltisley church where the bridle path starts on the opposite (north) side of St Neots Road. Care must be taken in crossing over the A428 soon after the start of the walk.
The walk is a moderate one on a well-defined path but is not suitable for buggies as the grass is long in places.
