Geocache Description:

The trails through Leroy Oakes FP are great for cross-country skiing! On the day this cache site was checked out, there was a 20-school cross-country track meet taking place, too!

There are several nice, wide, well-maintained trails through Leroy Oakes Forest Preserve, making for a delightful hike in just about any season. The first stage of the nearby Ferson Creek cache is along one of my other favorite trails here.

Nothing tricky here, just a nice stroll in the woods. Enjoy!
