Geocache Description:

The coordinates given are for the closest parking to cache. This cache is located in a wetlands path established as part of the Rouge River restoration project. The path is open to the public from dawn to dusk and is located in Van Buren Township at a major automotive supplier headquarters, so be respectful of corporate citizens during work hours.

Walk from the parking spot to the start of the path at N 42°14.885 W 083°25.979. There are two pieces of information you must gather to find the cache.
1. There are many informative signs on the trail, count the number of frogs & toads on the amphibian stand (f)
2. Count the number of bridges & boardwalks along the trail (b)
- hints: don't rely on the trail maps & there are two loops to walk
3. Plug your answers into the formulas below and add to the parking coordinates.
N(offset) = (0.012 x b) + 0.018
W(offset) = (0.025 x f) + 0.033

Total walking distance should be 1.5 miles.

Good Luck, enjoy the walk, and watch out for mosquitoes (or just go in the winter)!
